While big businesses and organizations were building websites at the rate never seen before, just the thought of having one for us, seemed daunting.

Fear of the unknown might have been the main factor that made the thought of doing the task seemingly insurmountable. But haven't we heard of the old adage that "Achieving something is 99% inspiration, and 1% perspiration"?

Back in 1999 while I was home (in Aloran, where else?) I ran into Ermie "Boy" Suico (shown above photo). 

We had a chat on various things, but mainly the internet. I must admit, I've never spoken to someone about the internet with so much boyish elan, until that day.

That chat reinforced my long-time goal of carving a place in the internet for all Aloranons, & friends of Aloran. www.aloran.org is a product made of 1% perspiration, and 99% inspiration.

Since its publication in November of 2001, thousands have already called by, been there, and done that. The support it got from the Sangguniang Bayan, and from Aloranons, & friends of Aloran all over the world is truly inspirational!

Robert Paler Maghanoy said, "I hope this is going to last forever". Well, nothing lasts forever. But we can make this last for a long long time. I can't do it all by myself, neither can you all by yourself. But with you and I? Yes, we can and we will.
