Josephine "Bebot" Sala Regalado, of Barangay Ospital,Aloran has successfully passed the Maryland State Board of Nursing Examination taken last November 12, 2004. She graduated from Medina College of Nursing in Ozamiz City. Prior to taking nursing, Bebot finished medical technology & served as Manager of the Hematology Department of St. Luke Medical Center in Quezon City. She is married to Armand Roa Regalado of Aloran since August 1986 and have five sons: Jason, Franco, Alexis, Armand Jr and Joseph. She is the daughter of the late Lieutenant Frank Sala & Rosita Parchaso of Aloran. Presently, Bebot works in Chicago, Illinois with a fellow Aloranon & childhood friend Juliet Orat. She is exploring for the best nursing job opportunity in America with the dream of having her entire family to join her as early as possible.

A Senior Mutia Passed Away by: Mart Celemin

On Wednesday, November 18, 2004, Galicano "Nong Canoy" Mutia
of Barangay Casusan, Aloran died in California as reported by his son Junno of Las Vegas, NV. Daughter Johna was with Nong Canoy when he passed away.  For over 30 years, Nong Canoy was Aloran's municipal tax collector.  He is survived by his wife and children in Cagayan de Oro and children in California. Plan is underway to cremate and take his ashes to Aloran for proper burial. All Aloranons are requested to offer a prayer for the repose of Nong Canoy's soul.

Jose Victorio Cajita popularly known as Jovic, the only son of Dr. Victorio "Vic" Cajita of Barangay Ospital of Aloran will exchange married vows with his beautiful financee of Korean-American descent in Las Vegas on Friday, September 17th at the famous Candlelight Chapel on the fabled Strip.
    Reception will follow at the groom's uncle (M. Celemin) residence in Vegas.  Both prospective groom and bride reside and work in San Francisco, CA.
On Saturday, October 2, 2004 the Aloran Association of America(AAA) West Coast had a successful meeting at the Caga-anan residence in Villa Park, CA.  It discussed the upcoming Aloran Medical Mission scheduled for January 26, 2005. In lieu of used clothes for distribution during the mission, AAA officers decided to contribute a minimum of $30 per family to be used to buy rice & other foods to be given to at least 500 Aloran bonafide indigents, and contribute to the expenses of the mission sponsored by Misamisnon-USA organization. AAA has called for Aloranons everywhere to contribute at least $30 checks payable to Magneta ("Magning") Bacayo Galindo, (AAA Treasurer),address to 2826 Rossana St., Los Angeles,CA 90039. Contributions would be acknowledged and receipted.

The Aloran Association of America - West Coast mapasalamaton sa banay ni Tata Grenico ug Dolly Mutia for hosting this year's Fiesta Celebration. The long-awaited event started in the morning of Saturday, the 11th with kids' games at their backyard which resembled a "mini theme park", with balay-balay, swings, and a wide playground. Mga bag-ong kaplag nga mga Aloranon from Long Island, and Elmherst, NY attended the celebration. Tess Cuajotor Rosales, daughter of Benhur Rosales of Ozamis City and Reynalda Cuajotor of Brngy. Ospital...grand daughter of Dodo Cuajotor and Salia Mutia...ug ang Mga Pueblos-Roa-Fabe & three daughters...He is a son of Mercedes Pueblos Roa from Brngy. Palayan, and she is a daughter of Berto Fabe from Brngy. Ibabao/Oroquieta City...remember Regalado Construction? Nong Berto was an engineer at their logging operation in Indonesia some years back.

Food was plentiful. Duha ka klasing kinilaw, sinugbang baboy ug isda, lechon, ug daghan pang uban. The hosts provided the sound system, and naturally line and ballroom dancing followed. Then the traditional bayloay ug mga sugilanon nga nahitabo sa daghan na nga katuigang nanglabay....mga handurawan.

Sunod tuig puhon, the fiesta will be celebrated at Hector "Totoy" and Angging Maghuyop's new home in Bogota, NJ...during the Labor Day weekend.....

On Saturday, September 4th, Aloranons and guests in the west coast happily gathered in Las Vegas and celebrated their town Aloran Fiesta. The Celemin residence was the site of the grand and festive celebration complete with professional DJs, 2 dozens Pinoy delicious dishes including a large lechon. The main serenaders of the night's festivities were Boy Tiyoy Mutia and Juno Mutia. Line dancing dominated the evening led by Magning Bacayo Galindo, Jean Perocho Celemin, Carol Dagumo Javier, etc. About 75 attended the fiesta.  The Fiesta continued the following day with the annual membership meeting. A motion was carried to retain current officers (Mart Celemin, Lina Mutia Capalla, Magning Galindo, Jean Celemin, Danny Tayone, Ric Dagumo, Sannie Sumalpong and Boy Tiyoy Mutia).The planned Aloran Medical Mission was its main topic of discussion led by Misamisnon-USA (mission sponsor) president Joe Manalastas followed by a sumptous luncheon before breaking up for home or the casino!
s. The Aloranons agreed to meet again on October 2nd at the Caga-anan residence in Villa Park, CA to finalize the planning of the medical mission. It was considered a very joyful, fulfilling and memorable fiesta in recent years. Next years fiesta will be celebrated on September 3rd at Peter Mutia's new home in Panorama, CA followed by the annual membership meeting the following day at Peter's brother Boy Tiyoy's residence.
