Cajita-Wong Nuptial... by: Mart Celemin

MaryJo Cajita and Mark Wong got married on December 27, 2003
    in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is the eldest daughter of Aloranon Casiong and Tessie Cajita. Mark is a native of Hawaii.  Their long courtship (6 yrs) ended on December 25th when Mark proposed to MaryJo, and within 2 days were
    wedded at a beautiful chapel on famous Las Vegas Strip. The
    joyous event was attended by MaryJo's parents from Houston,
    Texas, Mark's family, relatives and friends of both groom and bride.  A grand Church wedding is planned to take place in Honolulu next December 27, 2004.

Half-Aloranon Jock Caga-anan celebrated his 60th birthday on Saturday, January 24th. A lavish party was held at his
    beautiful estate in Villa Park, California (Los Angeles suburb)attended by his relatives and friends joined by Aloranons Celemin, Perocho and Ocaya families. Jock's father was Cacoy Caga-anan of Aloran whomigrated to the U.S. in the 1920's as a staff member of General Douglas MacArthur. Jock's mother was a Scottish American. Jock and his wife Joyce are proud Aloranons.

Johnna Medado Matundac & Jay "Butyok" Maisog tied the knot after going out for a while. Both are from Brngy. Ibabao. Johnna is a daughter of Loloy Matundac (originally from Brngy. Tuboran) & Andring Medado, and Jay is a son of the late Josue "Awi" Maisog & Inday (originally from Dipolog).

An elusive Aloranon bachelor ties the knot... (by Mart Celemin) 

On Saturday, December 20, 2003, Aloranon Filomeno "Fil" Cajita Celemin married Josephine Salutan of Oroquieta City in the entertainment Capital of  World, Las Vegas. Both are former employees of the Office of Provincial Engineer in Oroquieta City, 9 kilometers north of Aloran, Misamis Occidental, Philippines.

Cousins, moving from Las Vegas to Arkansas... (by Mart Celemin)

Dr. Cesar L. Cajita and his wife Dr. Eleonor Ignacio Cajita, both pediatricians are moving from Las Vegas to Arkansas in January 2004.  Cesar is the cousin of Aloranons Martin Celemin and Narcasio "Casiong" Cajita. Cesar and Eleonor (formerly from Cavite) have two daugters and grandsons.

A beautiful Aloranon is engaged... (by Mart Celemin)

On December 25, 2003, beautiful MaryJo Mahinay Cajita was engaged to Mark Wong, an American-Chinese mestizo.  MaryJo is the eldest daughter of Aloranon Narcasio "Casiong" Cajita and Teresita Mahinay Cajita of Cagayan de Oro. She got her BS Degree in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and recently passed the Nevada Nursing Board Examination.  She is currently working as an RN in one Las Vegas' hospitals.  Mark Wong, a native of Hawaii, got his BS Degree in Computer Science at UNLV about the same time as MaryJo got her degree. Mark nervously offered to MaryJo a sparkling brilliant diamond ring at the home of Mark's brother in Las Vegas. A combined Christmas and Engagement party wqas held at Aloranon Martin Celemin's residence attended by the Cajita/Regalado/Celemin Clan and Mark's relatives. A wedding date has yet to be determined.
