I blocked 20 rooms from 9/4-9/6/2009 under Aloran Association of America at $89.00 per night. The hotel is nice and the rooms will be newly renovated by the time we will have our affair. I picked this hotel because it is close( about 10 minutes) to the park where we will have our picnic. It is also close to Nasser and Roger's houses. The Ilocano Society of America always hold  their Miss Teenage FilAm Pageant in this hotel and I was one of the judges once so the management is used to catering  to the Fil-Am community and is familiar with our needs and idiosyncracies. They are very accommodating too! Another plus in this hotel is there are many hotels  nearby for those who do not want to stay in this hotel and they are just walking distance. There is a Filipino restaurant too  in the vicinity!!

Anyways, to make reservation please call at 703-971-8900 or 1-800-717--3691 and ask for the Aloranon Association of America room block. Reservations must be received by 8/14/2009 because after this date reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis only. Check-in time for all rooms is 3:00PM and check-out time is 11:00AM.  I will email you again  the names and telephone numbers of the other hotels in the vicinity as soon as I get them.

With regards to the tickets for the dinner/dance, I still have to do some computation and I will email it to you too. My guess at this point is probably around $65/person.

BTW, Mart, the theme of our 2nd Grand Reunion is "Once Upon a time in Aloran" (Ang Atong Kagahapon) so kindly relay the message that the dress code will be Circa 1960-1970. Tell them we  will not only give them a tour of Washington, DC but we will do a time travel together back to Aloran when we were still young! It will be both nostalgic and fun, that we promise !! It will be a long weekend full of activities for young and old!! It will be worth the travel!!
