SAUDI ARABIA HERE I COME Dong Ah! - Close call |
|
It was a close call! One thing I learned, with my colleagues, in the barracks, is brew wine from grape juice. Each of us, hidden in our clothes closet were galons of these stuff, in fermintation. The time came, and it couldn't be more perfect. Christmas Eve! We gathered in our common living room. We were in our Christmas Season Attire! Plenty of food and of course, galons of home-brewed wine. Singing Christmas songs mostly, but also, OPMs. Enjoy the food that we ourselves prepared, toast glasses again and again, and share good jokes and laughs. Past midnight, there was quiet, everyone was in their room, "sleeping like a log". Around 3:00 AM, I heard a loud explosion, so did other occupants of our block and two adjacent to us. We probed and found out that one, that was left un-opened galon of our wine was the source of the explosion. Broken glasses was everywhere in our living room, stuck into the plywood walling and ceiling. The explosion, apparently, was also heard from blocks not too far from us. Very early morning, the Korean housing security guys raided and confiscated everything related to wine-making! We were all anxious what will happen next. We knew how serious offense we have just done. Days passed, no police came to investigate. Apparently, Dong Ah didn't report the incident. |
