A LIFE WELL-LIVED...

SAUDI ARABIA HERE I COME
Dong Ah! - What goes around, comes around!

Two shuttle buses were designated, though not exclusively, to Filipinos assigned to the HQ and Data Centre in Mursalat, Riyadh.

Every day, I always get this impression that other nationalities were not welcome.

A number of times, Indians, engineers and technicians get in our bus and despite vacant seats, don't take them, knowing they're not welcome.

One morning, I could no longer pretend to be better than these guys.
An Indian engineer was standing right next to where I was sitting, told him to take the vacant seat across mine.
My Filipino "friends", all gave me that "what's wrong with you, Alex" look!
He did and thanked me as if I have just given back to him the rights he hasn't had in a long time.

Then one day, water supply broke in our blocks.
Water was rationed - not even enough for a regular bath.

Everyone was in "panic" mode!

That morning, I ran into that same Indian guy, he told me to do my laundry in their block.
There, I was with another Filipino, not from our group, doing his laundry too.
