I was worried how Winwin and Cheche might adjust to their new environment. But soon, it became clear that my worries were unwarranted. Children, their age hang out in our place after school and on weekends. They never get tired. They bike around the neighbourhood, and begin to play rugby football and cricket with their new friends. During school days, they walk to their school, which was just a block away. I wasn't worried much about Belen. Across the street were The Nelsons: Mervin, wife Tejani, Anthony and Christi, who were four and three years old. They chat, they bond and soon to other Filipinas living in the area.
